Nduga - The 503rd Para Raider Infantry Battalion of the Indonesian Armed Forces, under Operational Command HABEMA, joined forces with the youth of Kenyam District for a lively music practice session. Rabu (16/10/2024).
Led by Lieutenant Colonel Gurbasa Samosir, the soldiers used their area protection duties as an opportunity to connect with local youth at the GPID Jerikho Kenyam Church. The event aimed to enhance the community's Sunday Service by practicing music together.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement as the young participants expressed their appreciation. Matius Tabuni, a local youth, said, "Thank you, Commander 503. We are happy to practice music together. God bless." His words highlight the positive relationship being built between the soldiers and the community.
Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, the HABEMA Commanding General, recognized the initiative, stating, "The 503 Task Forces' engagement with the youth is a testament to our commitment to fostering community ties and supporting development in Papua." This recognition underscores the importance of such initiatives in promoting unity and hope for the future.
